A one-hour facial retreat with ‘skin food’ you can eat! Dr. Alkaitis Organic Skin Food is infused with organic goat’s milk yogurt and organic honey to deeply cleanse, nourish, revive and sooth the skin. Massage, steam, light extractions, and a customized series of bioactive “living” masks are created for your specific skincare needs. Adapted from the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this lifting, toning facial stimulates circulation, encourages collagen production, reduces puffiness, and plumps fine lines and wrinkles. Natural and effective, it is a genuine treatment because we work with the whole body to correct internal imbalances that may cause dryness, facial lines, drooping or sagging tendencies.
Thin needles are placed at a variety of acupuncture points such as the neck, eyes and mouth, stimulating the body’s own vital energy (known as Qi) and the production of collagen and elastin. As we work with muscle groups, the face can gradually “lift” itself through the muscles’ toning and tightening action. The insertion of needles also stimulates a healthy flow of Qi and blood, which improves overall facial color and texture, resulting in beautiful, glowing skin.
This facial style has appropriately been deemed an alternative to a traditional face-lift, and the results are flawless.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy is an ancient treatment found in many cultures worldwide. A suction cup is used to move stagnant fluids, nourish deeper tissues, remove toxins and improve circulation throughout the entire body. Generally performed along the 5 meridians on the back, Cupping feels similar to a deep tissue massage. It is a very effective treatment for chronic pain, physical injury and trauma, persistent coughs and colds, chronic stress, and deep muscle tension.
Cupping session is part of TCM therefore an intake, medical history and treatment plan should be assessed.
Shiatsu style “Miller Meridian”
“The Zen healer” Cara Michelle activates a calm, meditative mental state by gently contacting the meridian channels of Chinese Medicine. She connects and teaches the individual to still the mind and to experience single-pointed concentration. As a Shiatsu-based modality The Miller Meridian Method uses traditional Eastern practices of Qi-energy cultivation.
Miller Meridian is a progressive method, stimulating pressure points that release emotional, physical and energetic restrictions in the body, which create pain and imbalance. It is great therapy for assisting in the elimination of toxins and metabolic waste in the body. It is effective for a wide range of problems, including hypertension, headaches, dizziness, irritable bowel syndrome, muscular or skeletal pain, insomnia, nausea, diarrhea and other gastro-intestinal disorders.

Swedish Massage
This full body traditional massage relaxes and restores while gently stimulating circulation and calming the mind. This is the perfect choice for anyone looking to ease stress and increase mindfulness and overall well-being. Our therapists combine aromatherapy with smooth gliding strokes, kneading, friction and stretching to promote relaxation and ease muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage
This therapeutic massage is beneficial for active people or athletes with sore muscles and those dealing with injury rehabilitation, sciatica and migraines. Employing more intensive work and firmer pressure, deep tissue massage is aimed at the fascia (connective tissue) or deeper tissue structures of the muscle. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as a Swedish massage, but the pressure is more intense and more focused in order to release chronic muscle tension, pain or knots.
Hot Stone Massage
This specialty treatment combines a luxurious, relaxing massage with deep heat therapy to relieve stress, ease tension and loosen tight muscles. This massage incorporates the use of smooth heated basalt (volcanic) stones that absorb and retain heat. The stones are used in concert with our signature oils from head to toe to melt away mental and physical tension.
Nail Treatments
The Spa at James Corbett Studio exclusively uses non-toxic nail products by Priti NYC. All Priti NYC polishes and nail treatments are toluene, DHB and formaldehyde free. They are completely safe and healthful, even for children and moms-to-be. All hand and food treatments can also be paired with hair services in the salon or with a facial in the spa.

This deeply relaxing hand treatment goes beyond the traditional manicure to encourage renewal, rejuvenation and healing.
